Located just eight miles south of the North Idaho town of St. Maries, Forever Green Tree Farm has been raising beautiful trees for more than 25 years. The farm specializes in growing Colorado Spruce, Norway Spruce, Grand Fir, Fraser Fir, and Austrian Pine trees specifically.
The family owned and operated farm has become a favorite for locals, but it's well worth going out of your way for even if you don't live in the area. After all, there's something extra special about harvesting your very own Christmas tree.
During the holiday season, the farm is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. If you can, plan to visit on one of the first two Sundays in December. It's on these days they offer free horse-drawn wagon rides around the farm.
These charming wagon rides makes for a great way to make wonderful winter memories with your family. It's also a good way to tour the farm and simply take in the magnificent beauty of North Idaho's snowy landscape.
