Basil Manwaring opened Manwaring Cheese in 1955 in Ashton. Throughout the years it has moved to multiple locations, but in 2019, the cheese factory moved to its current location in Idaho Falls.
Every Tuesday through Friday, fresh cheese is made in-house and is available to purchase. There are nearly two dozen flavors to choose from, including unique flavors like Hell Fire, Dill, Garlic Pepper, Bacon Jalapeno, and Cajun.
You can even come into the Idaho Falls store and watch the cheesemakers at work. It’s quite a sight to see, and it may make you crave the cheese here even more!
