North Menan Butte is actually an extinct volcano and it makes for one of the most popular hikes in this small town. The moderate hike is fairly short and perfect for hikers of all skill levels and ages. The view from the top is out-of-this-world amazing, but the butte itself is an incredible setting for this volcano hike. How many people can say they’ve hiked on a volcano before?
