The Whimsical Tea Room In Hawaii That’s Like Something From A Storybook
While the Hawaiian Islands are the least stressed state in America, life in Hawaii can indeed be stressful. And while we love relaxing on the beach as much as everyone else, sometimes you want a relaxing experience that is entirely unique. Enter Ali’i Tea Hale, a Victorian tea room and boutique located in the heart of Kailua where visitors can take a step back in time and escape from the stresses of everyday life in an atmosphere filled with grace, charm, and warmth.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
Quite unlike anything else you’ll find anywhere across the Hawaiian Islands, Ali'i Tea Hale looks as though it was ripped straight from the pages of a storybook — at least from the inside.
Whether you’re a party of two or twenty, an upscale tea time is the perfect accompaniment to every celebration and occasion — from bridal showers to birthdays and every occasion in between. A private room is also available.
With a large selection of steeped teas served from around the world, you’re sure to find a delicious hot cup of tea to suit your palate. Also served are an array of savory and sweet treats, including soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts.
Served on fine china on a table adorned with lace and linen in a charming atmosphere, the experience you’ll have at Ali'i Tea Hale is both upscale and relaxing.
The attached boutique offers Victorian treasures, unique and romantic gifts, seasonal products, and more! They also specialize in premium and private label teas.
Ali’i Tea Hale is located on the ground floor of the Kailua Medical Arts Building at 407 Uluniu St., Kailua, HI 96734, and is open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They are closed Mondays. While walk-ins are welcome, reservations are highly recommended. For more information or to make a reservation, call 808.230.8832 or visit their website.
