This 4-Mile Trail In Hawaii Leads To A Double Waterfall And A Waterfall Swimming Hole
There’s no shortage of waterfalls to view if you’re on the Hawaiian islands. But this waterfall trail in Hawaii gets top marks from us! At the end of the trail lies a double waterfall and a gorgeous swimming hole, right smack dab in the middle of some serious Hawaiian beauty. Bring a friend and a lunch, and spend the day at this incredible spot on Molokai.

This double-tiered waterfall falls a total of 250 feet into the gorgeous swimming hole below. The waterfall is located in the beautiful Halawa Valley, surrounded by rainforest.

It’s mostly flat, and you’ll gain only 485 feet in elevation throughout the trail’s entirety. This makes it a good family hike, and open to more beginner skill levels.

Even this part is more fun than difficult. But bring sandals or footwear you don’t mind getting wet.

Because the hike crosses over private land, you must get the landowner’s permission, or join a guided tour group that regularly makes the trip.

This is especially important for continued good relations with the private landowners, so visitors can see this incredible waterfall in person.

Pack a picnic, go for a swim, and enjoy the area rich with Polynesian history. If you take the guided tour, expect to leave at 9 a.m. and return back by 2 p.m.

Lush rainforest, beautiful waterfalls, and a great place to swim add up to the perfect day in paradise. This is one stop you’ll want to make on your next trip to Molokai.
