Are there other trails in Hawaii on the island of Maui?

Yes - there are many other trails in Hawaii on the island of Maui! Among the main Hawaiian islands, Maui is kind of the "just right" island: It has nicer weather (and less vog - volcanic smog) than Hawaii Island, it's not nearly as crowded as Oahu, and there's more going on than on Kauai. It's a happy medium that embraces all the good things that Hawaii has to offer, along with infrastructure, amenities, and, of course, adventure.

This means you'll find many hiking trails on the island. Some of the best are in Haleakala National Park, but there are many others elsewhere on the Valley Isle. These are some of our favorites:
