9 Waterfalls In Hawaii You’ll Only Find When It’s Raining

From Hawaii Island’s Akaka Falls and Kauai’s Weeping Wall to Maui’s Waimoku and Makahiku Falls, the Hawaiian Islands are home to some of the world’s most impressive waterfalls. While we absolutely adore the islands’ stream-fed waterfalls that are always flowing, the extensive rain Hawaii has been receiving this week brings many other intermittent waterfalls to our attention. Some of these 9 waterfalls flow year-round but are only truly impressive when it’s raining, while others, like the waterfall walls found on three of the major Hawaiian Islands, are only visible when it’s raining.
