There is perhaps no food more synonymous with the Hawaiian Islands than fresh pineapple. After all, these breathtaking islands were once the big kahuna when it came to pineapple production, and while other South American countries now harvest most of the world’s pineapple, Hawaii is still notorious for this sweet fruit. While we love visiting Hawaii’s remaining pineapple plantations, we also love seeing what sort of creative things are being done with pineapple, and this confectionary certainly caught our attention.
