Located in Upcountry Maui at the end of Piiholo Road, the trail is located within the Waihou Spring Forest Reserve, a 186-acre slice of heaven that was created in an attempt to protect the source of the Waihou Spring, one of the few perennial springs on the western slopes of Haleakala.
