What is a Hawaiian celebration without mouthwatering foods, both unique and traditional? Absolutely nothing, we would argue. In fact, some of the greatest festivals revolve solely around the food that is so influential to our island cuisine. With access to the freshest produce and seafood around, as well as several innovative chefs who call Hawaii home, the islands’ are full of incredible food, all of which are celebrated at Hawaii’s favorite monthly outdoor food festival: Eat the Street. Yes, you read that right: a massive outdoor food festival held in Honolulu… every single month! Let’s take a closer look:

Held on the last Friday of each month in the Kaka’ako neighborhood of Honolulu from 4 to 9 p.m., Eat the Street is Honolulu’s regular food truck and street food rally.

The first Eat The Street was held in a small parking lot on Kapiolani Boulevard in 2011. More than 1,5000 people attended, and many vendors sold out. The event has grown steadily ever since, and is now a beloved Honolulu tradition.

The monthly food truck fair features more than 40 food vendors, retail shops, and live entertainment. The event typically attracts more than 7,000 people each month, making it one of Hawaii’s most popular food festivals!
