10 Reasons Why Fall Is The Best Time Of Year In Georgia
Once again, I’ll say it; fall is absolutely my favorite time of year and there’s no wonder why. During the fall, we have more time with family, the weather is absolutely beautiful and I get an excuse to dine on all of my favorite southern dishes. In case you’re just not convinced, here are 10 reasons why fall is the best time of year in Georgia:
With all of Georgia's many trees and gardens, its pretty hard for any other state to compete with the beauty that befalls Georgia in autumn.

With the holidays, football and more church functions, we find ourselves around our loved ones more and more in the fall season.
What better time to get outside and enjoy the outdoors than in the cool and mild fall weather?
Kids get to dress up and gorge themselves on candy... and some adults do too! All in all, it's definitely one of the most fun times of the year.
Thanksgiving is definitely one of the best holidays of the year because its main purpose is to give thanks and feel grateful for all the wonderful people we have in our lives. (Not to mention all the yummy food makes us feel grateful as well!)
...and all of the fun activities that come with it such as hay rides and jack o' lanterns!
There are literally dozens of fun corn mazes to explore in Georgia, all with an interesting shape or theme. Many of the corn mazes also feature other fun activities such as bouncy houses, hay rides and more!
Pie, pie, pie! Fall is the only time of year that we feel it's absolutely necessary to get ourselves as much pie as possible. I just love it!
When the weather begins to grow cool, we know the inevitable football season and all of it's traditions are coming soon. Barbecues, football parties, family get-togethers--I know that many of you are already enjoying the football season right now!
With the holidays coming up and more church and family functions, the excuse to eat more southern cuisine is inevitable. (I'm not complaining!)
