In the charming town of Athens, Georgia, there is a park for children of all ages to take a break from their cares and worries, and simply be a kid.
With the help and dedication of 1,500 volunteers, World of Wonder Playground was built, and is actually the largest volunteer-built playground in Georgia.
Besides the castle-style fixtures, there are also all the regular playground favorites, from the rock walls to the monkey bars, and even interactive tic-tac-toe.
At nearly two acres of swings, bridges, tunnels, and mazes, World of Wonder Playground is filled with magic and fairy-tales for any child willing to believe.
