This bank is truly from the future. It’s also known as the Jetsons Bank, or Robots from the 8th Dimension Bank. It was built in 1966 and is still in operation. The next time you stop by Alma, Georgia, drive by this unique looking bank!

Visit the world’s longest escalator in the CNN Center. It is 196 feet long, 8 stories long, and the exit is out of an Earth globe. You have to take the CNN Studio Tour to ride the escalator.
Booth Western Art Museum is the largest Western art museum in the country. The museum has hand written letters from every U.S. president, Civil War battle paintings.
Visit the very first Waffle House in Avondale Estates, GA. This Waffle House opened in 1955 after Joe Rogers, Sr. and Tom Forkner decided that a 24 hour restaurant would be a good idea. This restored Waffle House will have you back to the 50 with it’s Waffle House memorabilia from the past 60 years.
Go see what it’s like to be in jail at the Crime and Punishment Museum. If you call ahead and schedule a tour you can have a chance to eat lunch inside the jail. There are also old jail artifacts such as a chain-gang ball-and-chain, old handcuffs, and a gallows with a trap door.
Come visit the birthplace of the girl scout in Savannah, Georgia. Julliette Low started this organization in 1912. Inside the house, visitors can see artifacts and a gift shop.
