When it comes to popular foods that everyone loves, grilled cheese sandwiches tend to rank pretty high up on the list. It’s a great comfort food that’s equally pleasing on a steaming summer day or a chilly winter one when paired with a hot soup. Some of us are minimalists and love a basic slice of American cheese on plain white bread. Others prefer complex melts, filled with toppings, sauces, and/or a variety of breads and cheeses. No matter what kind of grilled cheese you prefer, one place you definitely want to be is the 2022 Atlanta Grilled Cheese Festival on Saturday, April 30.

The festival has been delayed several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it's finally set to take place.

There will be two sessions of this cheesy event: an 11:30 a.m. morning segment and a 2:00 p.m. afternoon session. The festival will end around 6:00 p.m.

Admission to the festival includes your first three quarter-sized grilled cheese samples (additional sandwiches can be purchased from vendors), a koozie, and live music.

Those who are over the age of 21 will also receive access to the Adult Game Zone and Bloody Mary Garden.

Kids 12 and under are free with a ticketed adult. There's a kids zone with plenty of fun games to entertain the little ones.
Nearly 30 vendors are expected to attend, from Atlanta and elsewhere.
