Move Over Kentucky! We’ve Created The Ultimate Georgia Bourbon Trail & It’s A Road Trip Worth Taking
Here’s the thing…we know that Kentucky is all about the bourbon and that when you think about taking a bourbon trip in Georgia it probably wouldn’t be quite the same. However, after this particular Georgia bourbon road trip, you might just be pleasantly surprised. For those who are unaware, bourbon is a straight whiskey which has been distilled from a mash and is a popular drink in the southern United States. So for those who are looking for a weekend indulgence in Georgia, grab your friends and head out on the bourbon trail.
The Georgia Bourbon Trail takes about 5.5 hours to complete, and you can start north to south or south to north, whatever is easier for you. We recommend making a weekend out of it, because A) it’s more fun that way and B) that’s a lot of bourbon tasting! Make sure to have a designated driver, too, because making it to all the stops on this trail safely is of the utmost importance. You can find the entire trail on Google Maps
