This Small Town Georgia Grill Has Some Of The Best Food In The South

Big city restaurants tend to get all the love. Don’t get us wrong: there’s plenty of phenomenal places to eat in Atlanta, Savannah, Macon, and all our other large cities. But you can also find some pretty amazing small town restaurants in Georgia. One of our favorites is Burke County’s Fish Eye Grill. This little spot is tucked away in the town of Girard, which boasts a population of under 200. But you’ll find wonderful service, a great small town atmosphere, and, of course, delicious food at this rustic spot!

Girard is part of the Augusta metropolitan area. At around 45 minutes away from the city, it still has a rural feel to it, and since the population is only around 200, it's a quintessential small town in Georgia.

Here, you'll find the delicious Fish Eye Grill. This spot opened up in 2018 and has quickly become one of the most popular restaurants in the area.
The rustic decor and tasty food are so inviting that many drive from out of town to eat here.
