The giant moat for protection, the sturdy cement walls, the tower that reached to the sky…it all sounded pretty dreamy, right? Rhodes Hall in Atlanta is an incredible landmark within the city, built back in 1904.
Originally the home of Rhodes Furniture founder Amos Rhodes, today this giant castle-like structure is a museum and also one of the coolest venues in the state.
Nicknamed the Castle on Peachtree, Rhodes Hall allows visitors the chance to meander the old halls, enjoying the history of the building with many of the same furniture and decor throughout.
Visitors have a few different tour options to choose from when they visit, from the self-guided tours available with a donation of choice to the $7 per person guided tour which takes guests behind-the-scenes.
As one of the few remaining mansions on Peachtree Street, not to mention one of the only castles in the state, come explore this historic and celebrated hotspot in Georgia.
