It’s not every day that you see a restaurant take over an old 1900s home. In fact, we’re so used to seeing restaurants pop up in large scale buildings, or massive outfits, it seems second nature to eat a meal in a looming space. However, there is one restaurant that was once a loving family home, owned by the Campbell Family in the 1900s. A home where couples shared cocktails in the parlour, where children were born and raised, and where generations sat down to family suppers. That family home has now turned into Revival restaurant in Decatur, and you’re going to want to visit.
Famed chef Kevin Gillespie wanted to create a restaurant which paid homage to his younger years in the South.
Revival is the type of restaurant where you can chow down on soul-satisfying Southern food, in a charming, homey setting, and not have to wash a single dish afterwards.
