Natural Waterslide In Georgia

March 12, 2021

What are some of the most beautiful lakes in Georgia?

One of the most beautiful bodies of water in Georgia is a spring-fed pool known as Red Clay Resort. This spring-fed pool is family-owned and operated, and boasts one of the most beautiful, turquoise swimming locales in Georgia. And at nearly 4,000 acres, Fort Mountain State Park boasts is a picture-perfect lake that has some insanely picture-perfect views. The lake is actually part of the state park with a beach that’s one of the most beautiful in Georgia!

Are there any hidden waterfalls in Georgia?

There are several must-visit, hidden waterfalls in Georgia! Mud Creek Falls remains much of a hidden gem in Georgia and perhaps one of the most underrated falls in the state. As one of 17 public waterfalls in Rabun County, hikers barely even need to hike to get to the falls. Snag a picnic table nearby and have a picnic lunch near the falls.

Is Tallulah Gorge in Georgia the only natural waterslide in Georgia?

While Tallulah Gorge has the only natural slide in Georgia, there are several other swimming holes in the state that offer equally fun adventures! Helton Creek Falls has some pretty sensational views. Not to mention some awesome swimming opportunities. Like the lower falls for example, where people have brought tubes or yoga mats to slide down the rocks into the water. And at The Beach at Clayton County International Park in Jonesboro, there are several waterslides here that look like something out of an epic island resort! This man-made spot is the perfect place to spend the summer, swimming all your troubles away. And another natural wonder, Helton Creek Falls, is a popular attraction for families, primarily because of the pool at the bottom of the falls — which you can swim in. Swimming hole and waterfall in one? Yes, please!
