One of the coolest, more recent attractions in Georgia is located in the Atlanta Botanical Garden and is a true wonderment. This long, elevated canopy walk allowed the gardens to double in size, linking the more formal original gardens to almost 15 additional acres of woodlands in the surrounding area. Step inside the beauty of nature with this long, elevated canopy walk through the woods in Georgia.
There are a lot of different aspects of The Atlanta Botanical Garden that are naturally stunning in their own right.
Opened in 2010, the Kendeda Canopy Walk clocks in at nearly 40-feet high, with a 12-foot wide bridge that gives visitors one of the best treetop views of Storza woods.
Storza woods is a fascination, too, as it is one of Atlanta’s last remaining urban forests—brimming with tulip poplars, hickory trees, and oak trees galore.
What’s even cooler about this one-of-a-kind suspension bridge, is that it’s considered the largest tree canopy-level walkway of it’s kind in the entire country.
