If you’re in Rome, Georgia and are looking for some fun winter activities to get into, we have a few that will be perfect for a day of family fun. Not only can you enjoy a 4,000-square foot indoor ice skating rink, but you also can indulge in a giant indoor ice slide to tube down all season long. Kids and adults are welcome, but just be warned — once you start sliding, you won’t want to stop.
The Forum River Center in downtown Rome, Georgia offers up a unique winter experience for guests of all ages.
First and foremost, the ice rink is back! For another year families can spin around the indoor ice skating rink as the Forum on Ice is back for another year.
While the 100-foot ice slide is still a new attraction, you'll have to trust us when we say, climbing a tower to get to the indoor ice slide to zoom your way down is an adventure that you won’t find anywhere else in Georgia.
The rink and ice slide in Georgia will be open seven days a week for seven weeks. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
