Enjoy Glass Blowing And Craft Beer At This Unique Festival In Georgia
There are so many great festivals in Georgia that it feels like you could practically visit one each weekend and fill up your entire year. The Peach State is awash in wonderful events, whether you’re looking to celebrate the season or enjoy local specialties like Macon’s cherry blossoms or Swainsboro’s pine trees. One of our favorite spring festivals in the state is the Americus Hot Glass and Craft Beer Festival. The festival focuses on the magical art of glass blowing and the burgeoning popularity of craft beer. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 in downtown Americus, Georgia.
This is one of the biggest events of the year in Americus and it's sure to be a blast. This year is the fourth time the event's been held.
Of course, the craft brews are a big draw for many! More than 20 regional breweries will be present, each with three or four beers on hand for sampling. A tasting ticket will grant you general admission to the festival, plus 12 tastings.
If you're not planning on drinking, general admission tickets are available for purchase. Kids under the age of 17 get in free when accompanied by a paying adult.
There will also be plenty of glass blowers hailing from all over the country. You'll get to see the fascinating art in action at glass blowing demonstrations.
More information about the Americus Hot Glass Craft Beer Festival can be found on the festival’s Facebook page. Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite.
