The property has been preserved by four generations of the Callaway family and has been open to the public for visitation.

Guests can tour the 13,000 square foot home and garden, which is considered to be one of the most well-preserved 19th century gardens in the United States.

Stroll through the well-manicured pathways and around the rows of flowers, getting a front-row seat to the curated natural beauty.

One of the highlights of the home is the pre-Civil War Ferrell Gardens which were created in 1832 by Nancy Ferrell and then expanded by her daughter Sarah Coleman Ferrell in 1841.
