Indian Springs State Park is one of the oldest state parks in the nation, and certainly one of the most hidden.

People have been drawn to this park for years in order to swim or drink the mineral rich waters, and take part in the tranquil setting.

For centuries, Creek Indians in the area would collect the spring water in order to heal their sick and enrich their bodies.

Even during the 1800s, the park was a vibrant and bustling town.

To this day, visitors to the park can still sample the spring water and fill up jugs at their leisure.
