Lisa loves animals and has dogs, rats, cats, guinea pigs, and snakes. She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). If you’re not a pierogi fan, it’s probablyjust because you haven’t tried them yet. These tasty little dumplings are common in Poland and other areas of eastern Europe. They’re filled with savory or sweet fillings, ranging from everything from cheese and beef to peach or strawberries. We’ve got plenty of international restaurants in Georgia, so there are lots of options for delicious pierogies in the Peach State. One of our favorite spots to pick up this Polish delicacy is Margo’s Gourmet Polish Kitchen in Blue Ridge. It’s a taste of eastern Europe right in the Georgia mountains.
