Human spontaneous combustion is an incredibly rare occurrence. However, in 1974, sixty-six-year-old Jack Angel experienced just that. After taking a trip in his motor home from College Park to Savannah, Angel fell asleep on the couch of his RV. He woke up four days later, with slight burn marks on his body, but no pain. It wasn't until he collapsed and ended up in the hospital that the doctor confirmed Angel was burned very badly, not too much externally though, but internally. His Doctor found quite a few nerves in his body simply destroyed, burned to a crisp. He survived, but needed a few limbs amputated because of the internal damage.

Atlanta resident Claudine Jackson awoke one morning to find a terrifying infestation of snakes to have taken over both her front and backyards in 1972. For ten days, Jackson's home and yard were overrun by almost 130 snakes. While no explanation was ever offered for how the snakes came to arrive there, luckily none were poisonous and no one was injured.
