The Georgia Food + Wine Festival Just Might Be Georgia’s Biggest And Baddest Foodie Event
What’s better than a food festival in Georgia? How about a festival celebrating both food and wine? That’s just what you’ll find at the aptly-named Georgia Food + Wine Festival. This annual event held in Marietta consistently ranks among the most popular food festivals in the Peach State. It’s a fun-filled weekend with daily events that appeal to everyone. Whether you’re a highbrow wine connoisseur or parent of young children, there’s a wide array of entertainment to be enjoyed throughout the weekend. This year’s festival will be held the weekend of Friday, March 24 to Sunday, March 26, 2023. It’s sure to be a blast! Tickets for each day are sold separately from one another, so make sure to purchase admission for whatever days you’d like to attend.
The weekend kicks off on Friday, March 24, with the "Fired-Up" event focused on all things BBQ. The best pitmasters in the South will be here displaying their talents, and an all-inclusive ticket gets you food and drink samples. Beef, pork, chicken, seafood, and vegetarian barbecue will all be available.
Note that the Friday events are 21+, so children are not allowed.
The fun continues on Saturday, March 25 with the main event: "Savor." Twenty different restaurants will be on hand, and a ticket grants you 10 food samples.
Food products and artwork will be on sale at the artisan's market, and if you're feeling peckish, additional food sample credits are available for purchase, too.
Note that the Saturday events are 21+, so children are not allowed.
Sunday, March 26 is "Sunday/Funday," an all-ages event with live music, food trucks, and a kid's zone. Adult tickets include 10 culinary credits for food samples.
The 2023 Georgia Food + Wine Festival will be held at Jim R. Miller Park and Event Center in Marietta. You can get more information or purchase tickets in advance at the festival’s website or Facebook page. Remember, admission for each day is sold separately.
