Sometimes the atmosphere is as important as the meal when you're looking for a fine dining experience. At Le Chateau in La Crosse, you will find the most stunning location to enjoy a truly spectacular meal. From an Italian black marble fireplace to a century-old chandelier and more, Le Chateau is dripping with elegant details that help create a stunning ambiance for your meal.
Le Chateau is located in The Mons Anderson House, built in 1854. It's a stunning, huge setting that owners Tim and Eva Ewers have decorated and divided into unique rooms and settings.
The main floor of Le Chateau is divided into four distinct dining areas: the Champagne Lounge, the Peacock Room, the Riviera Room, and the Petit Versailles Room. The floor can be wide open, with each room flowing into the next, or pocket doors can be closed to give more privacy.
The second and third floors are used for private events - booking the third floor Tower Room for a special meal is one of the very best and most romantic options in all of Wisconsin.
Dining at Le Chateau really does feel like being transported to France. Chef owner Tim studied abroad and his wife Eva is French by birth.
Every detail has been thought of and every inch of Le Chateau focuses on elegance and fine dining.
The food at Le Chateau is at least as beautiful as the building itself.
From classic French preparations ...
... to seasonal delicacies ...
... to dessert, everything Le Chateau serves is well thought out, delicious and stunning.
This gorgeous building is more than 170 years old and has been lovingly maintained for your dining enjoyment.
There's also a beautiful back yard for warm weather dining.
And a new "Cave" that was opened recently to serve from their extensive French wine list, specialty cocktails and small plates in the intimacy of this cozy location.
From start to finish, everything at Le Chateau is beautiful beyond compare and it's well worth a trip to La Crosse to enjoy a meal there.
Le Chateau is located at 410 Cass St, La Crosse, WI 54601.
