Christmas is a magical time of year, and although we love seeing light shows like right here, sometimes you just don't want to get out of the car. Is that so much of a problem? It's cold. There are kids involved and lots of snowy temperatures. So why don't you head on over to The Dancing Lights of Christmas, located right outside of Nashville, Tennessee? This stunning display is a beautiful spot to experience all the excitement of Christmas with cocoa in hand, minus the chill. You're oh so welcome, friends.
The Dancing Lights of Christmas has been around for eight years now, located at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center. Yep, you're right - that's where the Wilson County Fair is hosted. Known as one of the most expansive and beautiful holiday light experiences in the state, this is simply an event you can't miss.
Its new Lebanon location is full of new displays and an even longer driving route, which is perfect for a long weekend night spent amongst the beauty of the season.
Keep in mind - if you bring three cans of food on a Monday or Tuesday through December 12th, you'll get $5 off of admission while also doing a kind and good act. This is in partnership with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. Tickets are $25 a vehicle or church van, and $50 for commercial vehicles.
There are almost two million lights that dance in tandem to the holiday tunes on the radio, which means whether you've come before or are looking to visit for the first time this year, you're bound to have a beautiful and exciting experience every single time.
The lights open nightly at 5pm, so make sure to tune your radio to the correct station - they'll let you know upon entrance - and enjoy the ride. You can also opt to visit Santa at the end of your drive, if the littles need to stretch their legs.
