All across the country, Oregon is known for its unique and delicious food culture. From Pok Pok's famous chicken wings to Bowpicker fish & chips, everyone should taste these local masterpieces for themselves. Here are 13 of Oregon's most iconic (and mouthwateringly delicious) dishes:
13. Creme Brule French Toast from Word Of Mouth Bistro
This wonderful restaurant is located in a renovated house in Salem. They serve numerous amazing breakfast and lunch dishes, including the spectacular Creme Brule French Toast.
12. Salt & Straw Ice Cream
Ranked as one of the best ice cream shops in the country, Salt & Straw has multiple lovely locations in Portland serving incredible ice cream with flavors including Honey Lavender, Arbequina Olive Oil, Stumptown Coffee & Burnside Bourbon, and more.
11. Fish and Chips from Bowpicker
This unique food stand in Astoria serves mouthwateringly delicious fish and chips from an adorable little boat.
10. The Reggie Delux from Pine State Biscuits
Pine State Biscuits is located in Portland. Their heavenly biscuit sandwhiches are served on hot, flaky buns. There are lots of great varieties to try, but the most famous is the Reggie: crispy fried chicken, bacon, gravy, and cheese. The Reggie Delux takes it one step further, adding a perfectly fried egg for some yolky goodness.
9. Tillamook Cheese
So, it's not exactly a "dish" (well, I can eat a whole block of it, but that's another story) but there was just no way I'd leave Oregon's beloved Tillamook Cheese off this list. It's sold in grocery stores all over, but if you go to the Tillamook Cheese Factory you can take a free tour and treat yourself to the freshest Tillamook cheese AND ice cream.
8. Chicken and Rice from Nong's Khao Man Gai
The simple meal of chicken and rice is brought to a whole new level by Nong's Kao Man Gai in Portland. People go crazy over this place, and for good reason; everything is made perfectly and full of flavor.
7. Voodoo Doughnuts
Ah, the legendary Voodoo Doughnut. People come from all over the country and stand in line for hours to try these strange and wonderful creations. If we have to choose one in particular, the maple bacon bar is probably the most iconic.
6. Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast from Otis Cafe
Located in Otis, Oregon is the wonderful Otis Cafe. This quaint and charming diner serves amazing made-from-scratch breakfasts and lunches. Everyone is especially in love with their chicken fried steak.
5. Moonstruck Chocolates
If you haven't tried Oregon's famous Moonstruck Chocolates yet, you'll have a blast crossing these delicious treats off of your bucket list. The chocolates are sold at shops in Portland and Beaverton and in stores throughout the state.

Le Pigeon is an upscale restaurant in Portland that serves one heck of a burger.
3. Dungeness Crab.

2. Ike's Vietnamese Chicken Wings from Pok Pok
In the last few years, Pok Pok has become one of the most iconic restaurants in Portland, and what's more iconic than their amazing fish sauce wings? The perfectly sweet, salty, spicy chicken wings are served with refreshing greens and lightly pickled daikon and carrots. These wings will simply blow your mind.
1. Marionberry Pie
