North Dakota is probably considered anything but tropical. With long, cold winters and being not only completely landlocked but also the geographical center of the entire landmass it's located on, it's really no question as to why. Still, you can get a taste of the tropics by visiting this new restaurant. There are plenty of delicious tastes to try here, and you'll love them.
Katina Tropical Food is a brand new restaurant that opened in Fargo, North Dakota in late 2019. It strives to bring tropical tastes to the prairie and you're bound to find something you haven't tried before here.
Katina's menu has quite a variety of unique flavors and combinations, with sides that range from your typical french fries to delicious plantains.
They're open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM most days of the week and offer a range of food, from breakfast meals like French omelets to dinners such as fried rice with shrimp.
There are even tropical twists on classics like spaghetti, with delicious fresh veggies tossed in and the option of chicken, shrimp, or even goat included.
Many of the dishes include seafood and a variety of delicious spices for that authentic, tropical taste.
Even if you haven't had anything similar before, this new restaurant is worth a try and you might just find a new favorite meal there. Plus, you can even get Katina delivered or to-go — and it's still just as scrumptious.
