Cobblestone Village town center, coming soon to Rolesville, North Carolina, is set to open in early 2024. This development is part of the Town of Roleville's vision for improving and expanding Main Street and downtown. Located at the corner of Young and South Main streets, Cobblestone Village will include 178 apartments, 50,000 square feet of retail space, and a municipal building. Welcome to Cobblestone Village!
In 2018, the Main Street Vision Plan sought to transform U.S. Highway 401 into a safer, more attractive Main Street by building a
space for locals and visitors to eat, shop, live, and play.
Another reason for building exciting attractions in this town is that Rolesville has more than doubled in population in the last 10 years now with about 11,000 residents.
The Town of Rolesville and KDM Development broke ground on the Cobblestone Village project in November of 2021.
This initial plan was submitted during a July 21, 2020, Town of Rolesville Board of Commissioners meeting, and some of the elements may have changed since then.
The Young and Main Street intersection is the historic center and entrance to the town. Read more on the Town of Rolesville’s website.
The $55 million project offers indoor and outdoor dining options, shopping boutiques, and open spaces to gather.
The plans include a specified site for the veterans' memorial and a town space with a clock tower and other signage
referring to Rolesville.
In addition, a dedicated parking area for electric vehicle charging and bicycle parking are planned.
KDM Development has also successfully developed Lafayette Village in North Raleigh, another mixed-use office and retail center.
