Food is not only essential, it's one of my favorite things. Lucky for me, New Jersey does food right. Our tomatoes are delicious, our pizza is perfection, our bagels are the best... I could go on. We also know how to do drinks. I've written previously about some over-the-top milkshakes but this diner takes coffee to the next level.
Some say Disney is the happiest place on earth but I think Brownstone Pancake Factory in Edgewater comes close.
With "pancake" in the name, you'd think their pancakes would be good. You'd be wrong - they're great. Perhaps better than great.
Their pancake wraps make almost anything better. I have a working theory that they're a cure for the common cold.
They even top their mouthwatering milkshakes with pancakes!
But they don't only do pancakes. They've got an extensive menu of options available for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
But with every meal, you need a drink. That's where their crazy coffees come into play.
Meet the Nutella Wafer Cupcake Cappuccino: Nutella cappuccino in a Nutella frosted cup with crumbled wafers and topped with a cupcake, whipped cream and Nutella. It's a gift that just keeps on giving, full of flavor and the caffeine you need to get through the day. You don't even need a meal (though I'd still get one), this is enough to fill you. If it's too much for you, they do have more basic options available. But why not go wild, at least once? They also have an equally epic hot chocolate topped with fudge cake.
