1. Beech Hill Farm and Ice Cream Barn, Hopkinton
Beech Hill Farm isn’t just a place to grab a cone, it’s a destination. With farm animals, a giant sand pile, and a corn maze, Beech Hill will keep your family entertained from spring through fall. And the ice cream will definitely not disappoint!
2. Moo’s Place Homemade Ice Cream, Derry
Moo’s place was just opened in 2004, but it has quickly scooped out a reputation as one of the best ice cream spots in the Granite State. Owners Christy and Steve are dedicated to providing top-notch homemade ice cream that will wow you.
3. Bishop’s Homemade Ice Cream, Littleton
No trip to the White Mountains is complete without a stop at Bishops. Not only is the product delicious, but the cute café will make you feel as if you’ve stopped into a friend’s house for a sweet treat.
4. Walpole Creamery, Walpole
Walpole Creamery’s premium ice cream has become so popular that you can now buy it in many grocery stores throughout the state. The best place to enjoy it, however, is still the original scoop shop in Walpole, or the secondary location in Keene.
5. Lago’s Ice Cream, Rye
Founded by the Lago family in 1981, Lago’s Ice Cream has become a favorite for visitors to the seacoast. While they have all the classic flavors they also have homemade specialties like black raspberry Oreo. Yum!!
6. Hayward’s Ice Cream, Nashua
Hayward’s has name a name for itself with homemade ice cream that comes in flavors like Appalachian and "Kangamangus" (a common misspelling of the Kancamagus Highway). You can also find delicious healthier treats like frozen yogurt, sorbet, sherbet, and no-sugar added ice cream.
7. Sugar and Ice Creamery, Barrington
At the Sugar and Ice Creamery you’ll find flavors that will make you fall even more in love with the Granite State. The creamery specializes in seasonal and small-batch flavors drawn from New England Farms, like peach cobbler. Yum!

We’ve got to hand it to Memories for cooking up a great name, because enjoying an ice cream cone is often about sharing memories and connecting with friends and loved ones. For a real treat, check out their week samplers for a variety of flavors, or order their artistic ice cream cakes.
9. Annabelle’s Natural Ice Cream, Portsmouth
At Annabelle’s your ice cream comes with lots of taste and without any additives or artificial flavors. They don’t need them, because these ice creams will make your taste buds explode. 10. Sanctuary Dairy Farm Ice Cream, Sunapee
