When you think of a diner, you probably think of an old-fashioned atmosphere, late nights, strong coffee, and best of all, classic comfort food. But Bozeman's Little Star Diner offers a more upscale experience, adding a touch of fine dining and farm-fresh cuisine to its menu. But rest assured, this is still comfort food -- it just looks extra-fancy.
Little Star Diner is located on East Babcock Street in Bozeman, although you might not recognize it at first.
This sleek, modern building certainly doesn't resemble a traditional diner.
This is a family-run business, owned by husband and wife team Charley Graham and Lauren Reich.
Charley runs the kitchen, while Lauren grows most of the produce on the family farm. Lauren has actually been growing produce for local restaurants since 2009.
The dining room is fantastic, but on a warm, sunny day, nothing tops enjoying a meal on the rooftop.
In fact, this is one of the few places in Gallatin County where you can do that.
While the dinner menu reads like a fine dining establishment, you'll definitely recognize the menu items.
From burgers to trout tacos and beef short ribs, there's something for every craving here.
Brunch is only served from Friday - Sunday, but it's well worth the wait.
The ever-changing menu utilizes fresh, local produce and herbs from the farm.
The brunch menu is divided into two categories, Sweet Things and Eggs.
And if you're in the mood for lunch by the time you arrive, you'll have several savory options.
Little Star Diner is often called the best restaurant in Bozeman.
While that is an extremely tough call to make, it's safe to say it's a top contender.
Little Star Diner is open Wednesday - Sunday. Check out the hours and delicious menu here.
