Even as the weather cools down, you'll still find Kentuckians flocking to the waterfront of the picturesque lakes throughout our state. Kentucky Lake is one of the most popular and if you happen to be in the area this season, we've found the perfect spot to dine where you'll feel a million miles away. Cindy's on the Barge at Kenlake Marina is a floating diner with wonderful food and even better views. It's unlike any other restaurant in Kentucky and you don't have to wait until next summer to enjoy it.

Whether you arrive to Kenlake Marine by boat or vehicle, Cindy's on the Barge is awaiting your arrival.

Located on scenic Kentucky Lake, it's a popular spot during the summer, but why not avoid the crowds and still enjoy the views with a visit this fall?

The restaurant was recently renovated and expanded and the menu was revamped.

It now has a tropical diner feel with classic menu choices that are simple, but done well, and plenty of windows to take in the view.

The large menu has something for everyone and includes options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The burgers are freshly made and one of the favorites on the menu, along with the crispy sweet potato fries. Breakfast is also a hit and tastes even better while watching the sun come up and the lake come alive. Visitors have said that it can be a bit of a wait for their food, but with an atmosphere like this, it seems pretty easy to just relax and take your time.

During the fall, Cindy's is open Wednesday - Friday 7am to 3pm, Saturday 7am to 8pm and Sunday 7am to 3pm. They are closed Monday and Tuesday.

Consider heading to Kentucky Lake this fall, maybe even rent a boat from Kenlake Marina and then enjoy an infamous lake sunset and a bite to eat at Cindy's. And you might as well add it to your list for next summer, as well.
