Sometimes no meal satisfies an empty belly better than a steak, especially one served alongside some tasty side dishes. If you’re looking for a new steakhouse to check out, then we have just the place for you.
This is Li’l Abner’s Steakhouse, a Tucson relic that has been serving food since 1947.
When you step through the doors, you’ll notice the restaurant has an old timey feel and that may be because the building was originally a stagecoach stop decades ago!
These days, however, you’ll find the steakhouse has a rustic charm both in the bar…
...and the restaurant itself. They seem to call back to the Old West when stagecoaches drove dirt roads in this part of town.
Your steaks (and other meats, like ribs and salmon) are cooked to order outside over an open mesquite flame.
Don’t forget to round out your meal with beans, garlic toast, and a slice of pie!
Other entrée items, if someone in your party isn’t quite feeling the steaks, include burgers and a hot dog.
Li’l Abner’s Steakhouse is located at 8501 North Silverbell Road in Tucson. You can find details about their menu, hours of operation, and more by visiting their website or Facebook page.
