Captiva Island is a coastal gem that many people flock to in order to escape to the ocean. When Christmas rolls around, it becomes even more appealing. Nobody gets into the holiday spirit quite like coastal towns and Captiva is filled with lights, decorations, and wonderful family-friendly activities.

West Palm Beach becomes a holiday Mecca for many every year, largely due in part to Sandi Land. Sandi Land is the Christmas experience in downtown West Palm Beach that features tons of holiday activities, plus the world’s only 35-foot, 700-ton Christmas tree made of sand. This is one town not to miss, and you’ll have a calendar of activities all season long.

But a main reason why people visit Christmas, Florida every year is to line up at the post office and make sure their holiday cards or letters from Santa are postmarked with the “Christmas” seal.
