It’s not too uncommon that Florida makes national headlines one way or another on a daily basis. Usually it’s something along the lines of a hurricane evacuation, alligator sighting, or crazy strong riptide. But this week, Florida made headlines for another reason: the nation’s very first man-made lagoon has opened and it could not be more spectacular. Check it out:
Crystal Lagoon at Epperson Ranch is a one-of-a-kind tropical paradise that you won’t believe even exists.
As the top, and perhaps the coolest, amenity offers for residents within the area, this lagoon is even open to those who wish to Stand-Up Paddle board and use non-motorized crafts, too.
While the photos only show the lagoon filled and not actually set up with sand or other amenities, you can still get a feel for how beautiful this project will be.
