If you want to see the adorable marine mammal known as the manatee in the United States, you’ll have to go to the state of Florida. The gentle creatures live in the warm waters along the state’s coastline and are truly an amazing sight to behold.

Technically, manatees can be found in other locations, but you would have to travel abroad in order to find them. That’s why we love Florida manatees, the truly beautiful and unique “sea cows” that call our country’s waters home.
