While from the outside this looks like any other regular ol’ fishing town, it actually has a haunted past that most would not expect to find.
Port Salerno, Florida is a small fishing town in Martin County that has a population of fewer than 15,000 residents.
Famed bank robber John Ashley and his gang used Port Salerno as their hideaway. It’s been said that after Ashley was executed outside of town, his ghost came back and never left. Guests can even take the two-hour Port Salerno Ghost Tour to learn more!
