During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.
1. Brooks Gourmet Burgers & Dogs in Naples. FL
Brooks is famous for their Donut Burger and Todd's Half and Half's, the soda or beer of your choice and the milkshake of your choice in one delicious beverage. You might not want to try this one without approval from your doctor.
2. Charm City Burger Company in Deerfield Beach, FL
Charm City serves up classic American burgers piled high with a creative spin. Pictured here is The Big Sloppy, with double meat, double bacon, double cheese, hasbrowns and a fried egg, but I wouldn't try to eat this for breakfast.
3. Quickie's Burgers and Wings, Hollywood, FL
Amazing burgers and wings, and for the truly bold, a 4-lb burger challenge.
4. MEAT Eatery & Taproom in Islamadora, FL
They go out of their way to make everything in-house, including the condiments. You must try the duck-fat fries and the Inside-Out Juicy Lucy, stuffed with pimento cheese and bacon and topped with American cheese, lettuce and tomato.
5. La Perrada Del Gordo (Gordos) in West Palm Beach, FL
Try something new and amazing with these authentic Columbian-style burgers and hot dogs.

Mac's is a drive thru in the old school tradition, great service, great burgers, as quick as possible. This is where a local will take you for fast food done right.
7. Grease Burger Bar, West Palm Beach, FL
A gastropub sports bar with gourmet burgers and a huge selection of beer (and whiskey!), what more could you ask for? Try the Ron Burgundy burger with a mushroom burgundy reduction, spring onions, with swiss and Boursin cheese.

Teak uses fresh, local and organic ingredients as often as possible. 9. Engine No9 in St. Petersburg, FL
Engine is probably the best place to get a burger or watch a hockey game in the Tampa Bay area. Prime burgers are served in a sports bar atmosphere with TVs at every table. Try the Chubby Duck, a monster burger with with sautéed onions, foie gras, pancetta, duck cracklings, and brie.
10. T-Ray's Burger Station in Fernandina Beach, FL
You've definitely never had food this good from a gas station before. T-Ray's is a converted gas station with classic diner food and a silly slogan, "Eat here and get gas." Try any burger here, and you will not be disappointed.
11. Pinegrove Market and Deli in Jacksonville, FL
It can't get any better than this tiny hidden gem: Pinegrove serves burgers right out of their butcher shop. If a local really likes you, they'll take you here.

The towering burgers served at Gilbert's are insane, and even better, they're served in a low-key, family friendly environment. Bonus: The desserts are equally crazy.
