Get ready, Florida, for the second-ever Key West Mermaid Festival taking place in just a few short months.

This one-of-a-kind festival was founded by a Key West native mermaid, who happens to also be the local mermaid boutique owner.

The festival is entirely unique, with five full days of Key West locals and tourists coming together to celebrate the ocean and of course, mermaids!

Mermaid enthusiasts from around the world can come together on Cayo Hueso Island, also known as Bone Cay, to enjoy all the sweet siren songs of the sea.

This festival is completely family-friendly, so if your little ones want to check out the festivities, tell them mermaid fins are optional!

With a portion of the proceeds from the festival being donated to Reef Relief, guests of the fest will also have the chance to learn all about ocean conservation efforts, too.

While the 2020 line-up has yet to be posted, you can expect a ton of mermaid fun, from the parade to different pool parties, cocktail hours, and time spent in the sun.
