Just south of Clermont, Florida you’ll find three big lakes that are part of Lake Louisa State Park—Louisa, Hammond, and Dixie. The park itself is massive, clocking in at 4,372-acres. While you don’t need to trek too far to get a glimpse of the shores of any of these lakes, we do have one particular trail that will lead you straight to natural beauty. There are plenty of hiking options for you to choose from in this state park, but, sometimes it’s best to start simple. Check out the Hammond Lake South Loop in Florida for an easy hike to the shores of Hammond Lake.
