One of the many perks of being a Washingtonian is getting to enjoy our epic festivals and events. For example, our seafood festivals are second to none, and we've got other amazing special events to look forward to in every season. This year we're welcoming back our beautiful Arts-A-Glow Festival in Washington, which takes place in the town of Burien.
The Arts-A-Glow Festival in Washington is an annual event for artists, creatives, and lovers of light everywhere.
The event takes place at Dottie Harper Park and Community Center Annex Park in Burien, and it's free to attend.
Arts-A-Glow takes place on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, from 7-10 p.m.
With great sponsors based in Seattle like the Burien Arts Association, Westside Seattle, Alaska Airlines, and Ignition Northwest, you're guaranteed to have a great time.
Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up, and little ones can get their faces painted.
The Environmental Science Center and Seattle ReCreative typically have activity booths with activities that are fun for the entire family.
The main event of the festival is a procession that kicks off at 8 p.m. at the southeast corner of the Burien Community Center parking lot.
Lanterns and costumes are encouraged, and you'll get to walk through all the best and brightest light displays.
When you come to this festival, you'll definitely want to bring your appetite.
There are always local food trucks at the parks, and the selection is fantastic.
If you'll be in the Burien area on Sept. 7, don't miss Arts-A-Glow.
This wonderful festival is fun for the whole family and the perfect way to bid adieu to summer in the Seattle area.
