12. Whispering Statue, Barre
This war memorial from the 1920s, also known as "Youth Triumphant," has an acoustic anomaly you won't believe. If you sit at one end of the circular structure and whisper, the person at the opposite end can hear you as clearly as if you were whispering right in their ear.
13. Challenge your fear of heights at the Quechee Gorge.
Whether you look down at the deep gorge from the bridge above...
Or you explore it from below, you'll see why people call the gorge "Vermont's Little Grand Canyon."
14. Harry Barber's Miniature Castles.
In South Hero you'll find several castles by Harry Barber; he used small stones to replicate the castles from his native Switzerland. Miniature, fascinating and absolutely wonderful.
