It's the time of year for creepy fun, and Nashville sure knows how to make a show come autumn. It's when the trees glow all sorts of orange, red and yellow, when the world gets a bit chillier and local eateries begin to proffer favorites like apple cider and pumpkin cookies. One of the best aspects of a Nashville fall? Jack's Pumpkin Glow. Happening now and through the month of October, this is perhaps one of the best-kept secrets in Middle Tennessee.
Jack's Pumpkin Glow is taking place at Andrew Jackson's Hermitage this fall, boasting a fun family atmosphere and thousands of beautiful pumpkin displays.
There are more than 5,000 jack o’lanterns on display this year! All of exhibits are beautifully designed and unforgettable and there's truly something for everyone.
Jack's Pumpkin Glow takes you on a 1/3-mile trail that will take you by beautifully designed pumpkin carvings and displays. Family friendly and great for couples, too, you can indulge in fall-inspired fare and even watch live pumpkin carving demonstrations.
The leisurely walk is controlled by 30 minute intervals. You'll buy your admission tickets by time, and will have the chance to indulge in the experience within your allotted admittance.
Keep in mind: this event is not meant to be scary! It's not a haunted house by any means and instead captures all the whimsy of the Halloween season.
Come to experience a true work of autumnal art. Jack's Pumpkin Glow is wheelchair accessible, though you will want to contact the team to make sure the terrain will work with your particular needs. Strollers are welcome as are children of all ages!
You can visit for yourself throughout the month of October, most commonly from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., though it will depend on the night. Get ready for a lovely autumnal evening, folks!
