Kennywood is back! Sure, we’ll have to follow a few rules, including wearing masks due to the pandemic, but a beloved summer tradition has returned. While the entire season promises non-stop thrills and adventure, weekends in June are shaping up to be particularly delicious with the Bites and Pints Festival.
Kennywood Park will introduce the brand new Bites and Pints Food and Drink Festival on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in June this season.
Just head to the Lagoon-area on weekends in June, where you’ll find stations dishing up delicious and authentic dishes from a variety of countries, including Japan, Italy, and the Caribbean.
Take your taste buds to Mexico, France, China, and Germany, too, during this epic food and drink festival.
The menu, of course, is bursting with delicious dishes – whipped fresh ricotta cheese, beef empanadas, and sweet crepes, for example. Each station will also feature beer and, in some cases, specialty drinks.
If you want to participate in the festival, you’ll first have to purchase a Bite Card. Cards are available for either eight or 12 samples.
The Bite Card is essentially your passport to trying all of the deliciousness that awaits at each food and drink booth. You can sample from one booth, or go to several booths. The choice is yours.
Dig into your food, and tap your feet to the live entertainment that’s scheduled throughout the festival. Entertainment is set to include The Flow Band, Totally 80’s, and The Fabulous Gem Stones.
Head over to the official website of Kennywood Park for more information. Or, go here for Facebook.
