When Giuseppe and Gaetano Termini arrived in America in 1920, they had their hearts set on opening a bakery in their new hometown of Philadelphia. By 1921, the brothers had saved up enough money to open up their shop, and within a few years, they became the city's most popular wedding cake bakery!

By 1938, they were able to move to a larger building, and expanded their business greatly. This 8th Street location is still their bakery today, nearly 80 years after opening the doors to their new location. All the while, this family run business kept expanding, opening up new locations in Philadelphia to keep up with the city's needs.
