9) Fennel Residence
This floating dream home is located on the Willamette River with a curved glass facade overlooking the water. It was completed in 2001 and designed by Robert Harvey Oshatz.

This historic castle in Southwest Portland was built in 1892 in a Romanesque style.
7) Killian Residence
Located in an aspen grove in Black Butte Ranch, this unique home is full of unusual curves, organic materials, and gorgeous windows. It was designed by Robert Harvey Oshatz and completed in 1975.

Though, from above, this looks like an airplane mistakenly found itself in the middle of a forest, it is actually the home of an airplane enthusiast who bought a used Boeing 727-200, took it apart, and reconstructed it in the woods near Hillsborough to create his dream home.

The Pittock Mansion is a French Renaissance-style house and historic landmark in Portland. It was bought by the city in 1964 and is open to the public - so you can go see it for yourself!
